Memories of being young... | |
monkeyboy Fish Addict Posts: 521 Kudos: 375 Votes: 223 Registered: 10-Apr-2005 | Lately I have been trying to come up with things I haven't done in a very long time that give that memory of being young and innocent in life. I did start bowling last summer after 12 years. Joined a short winter league, and doing good. But it wasn't truely what I was looking for. But I came up with one big one, kite flying. Not the high end performance kites. I'm talking the $3-5 kite kits from your local store and then getting 2 or more of the 300ft spools of string and just letting that thing sail up high. And I just found a park within a few miles to do this. I also just found all of my old matchbox and hotwheels cars. I dont plan on playing with them, but I already made plans on sending them to my little nephew as he enjoys them already. How about you guys? Do anything like this recently? or soon to be? Flying kites? toy cars? Legos? maybe that working atari 2600 from the early 80s? Anything to bring back that nostalgia of being young? Fish tanks are an expensive addiction |

There were ob I found an old piece of wood with a faded skunk painted on it. It must have been a Freudian slip that came out of my mouth next, cause I told hubby, "I'll leave that for the next kid that comes along." |
