Well, I hate resolutions, but I need some this year so here goes:

*lose 15 pounds (I've gained it all recently)

*eat healthier (see res., #1)

*drink less beer (might help with res. #1)

I hope those are doable....IO have NO will power.

Yup Matty, Cold turkey......helps that my girlfriend doesnt like smokers tho I decided to quit when we first met each other thru a mutual friend

I quit smoking cold turkey. Best way to do it. My husband had quit a couple years before me. When your significant other refuses to kiss you because you smell like smoke, it can be pretty powerful motivation.

A no fuss wedding can be achieved. Okay, you can only control the expectations of others to a degree but you can do a lot to reduce your own stress.

My best friend is a hairdresser/makeup artist. Over the years she has had a hand in thousands of weddings and decreed that her wedding would be no-fuss. That doesn't mean no frills it just means not obsessing over the pattern on the silverware etc. Keeping perspective helps one keep calm.

Keep us posted and all the best for the first day of married life (after all that is what it is... despite what the people making money offa you will have you believe.... yep, it is a special day... but it is just one day)
