Last night I switch to NGC moments before the documentary "A Journey Into Amazonia" was going to start. Man, was it a wonderful experience to see all these fish in real, in their natural habitat! Started off with a group of Siamese Algae Eater cleaning a "big" rock, followed by a shoal of hundreds of big silver dollars. A group of red bellied piranhas tearing a live seagull to pieces in seconds, huge Pacus going after the fruit dropped into the water by monkeys in nearby trees, swarms of neon and other tetras and what not. I don't even remember how many "familiar" fish did I get to see...
Wonder if anybody else has have the experience of watching the documentary and wonder if they have filmed something like this in the waters of Lake Malawi..Should be a real treat to watch.

Siamese Algae Eaters don't live in South America.

National Geo used to be on pseudo-basic cable here, but then they swapped it with BET. .-.

Hahaha... I get BET in my town, even there there's only like three black people out of population of over 50,000. And I think they got rid of Sci-Fi or something cool like that so they could put it in.

I have digital cable now though, so I get National Geographic Channel on something like channel 274. I watch the on-demand stuff all the time... They have shows about Alferd Packer and phobias of clowns and awesome stuff like that.
