Well just to clarify djtj, I said I already had the tank, the $75 was for the supplies, i.e. food, bedding, water bottle, exercise wheel etc....and oh yeah the hampster.

I had a hamster... The first one was Mr. Ed, the second was Mr. Ed. The third one was named Jim.

Sorry you had to take the other back, how is the new one coming along?

Nice Hamster. My dog ate my last one.
I used to have a hampster called cutie, but that's a fruity name.

For the record most hampsters are anti-social to begin with. They take a long time to get used to you. If this new hampster begins to misbehave, I would hesitate before returning it. It might work out with time and positive reinforcement

Well we had to take Comet back as he was just too anti-social. Couldn't pick him up at all without getting bitten. We exchanged him for a Black European hamster...he's so cute and he will also be named Comet. I'll get pics on as soon as I can.

Are you going to put anything else in there? I think dwarf hamnpsters are social. You might be able to give him or her some company The larger ones can get very nasty.

Who is the Pet for?
Hamsters are very cute, but since they have a very short life span, getting attached to one can be very difficult to deal with, even when you do everything right.

It's a very old 20 gal. high that I was going to use as another fish tank, but because of it's age and appearance (it looks like it's been re-siliconed and not very neatly I might add)I decided to use it for a hamster instead.

Dude, they sell specifically made hapster cages for about half the price Jessnick paid, and you get the hampster for free.
