Do you know how many of those I have crushed, smushed, or otherwise killed? Out in West Texas if you weren't careful your house would be taken over by them. Maybe not this breed but, scorpions, definetly. I know when Leslie was collecting bugs for her daughter, the kids tried to bring her all sorts of scorpions...so now the question is how much did you pay for them? I'm glad you're happy with them, just take care...you don't want one to accidently sting someone/thing that is allergic to the sting...:%) Heidi

natalie!! a heat rock? are you nuts? ditch the thing!! They're bad

Get a nice heat pad instead, rocks are very unpredictable and create very hot spots and uneven heat that can burn things. Pads heat the substrate and distribute the heat more evenly, keeping your pet healthier and happier

They are venomous, not poisonous. But their sting is only like a bee sting and they are very docile.

And yes, the cat was natually very interested in them.
