I LOVE IT!

(needs Quicktime)

For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks. - Terry Pratchett

SO cool! I remember at the end of the news a few months ago they had a little human interest piece on octopi and they showed this diver who was just filming the sea floor, very boring - whenallofasuddenthisoctopusappearedandfled! In about a half second, this thing went from completely invisible against the seafloor to BRIGHT white and halfway across the ocean.
Man, octopi are incredible. Now if only they lived longer ... you'd think, given all their adaptations, one species or other would! Don't some of their relatives live practically forever?

That's fan-mazing. Looks like it is doing the foxtrot. Quick, Quick, slow, Quick, Quick. (x8 of course!)

I love the occies. I live that they are so intelligent. Apparently known as the primates of the ocean.
