dan76 Big Fish Always Reading Posts Posts: 343 Registered: 08-Jul-2003 | as close as i was game lol , about 5 inches away to get the close ups, it would open its eye a fraction to look and then go back to sleep when i left it. it stayed there all day and flew away calmly when it got dark. my little girl, 2 yr old, was the one who spotted it first, i was leaning over the railing putting a bag of rubbish in the bin when she said dad and pointed i turned my head and the bird was about a foot away looking back at me i seem to get lots of birds in my yard , because i trained my dogs to chase cats i have some other photos somewhere of a hawk eating a mouse in the back yard, and the figbirds always try to eat off my chilli bush |
