Well, I went and severely sprained my ankle today. It is becoming a tradition with me, as I have sprained it the last two years in a row. I don't think it has been the same ankle every time though, so that's good news. Either way, the ankle really looks nasty. I had to be picked up from school, and I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. I keep insisting that I'm fine, but my mom and the school nurse disagreed. I had to pick up my backpack and whatnot in a wheelchair! *Blushes from shame* Anyways, here is a picture for those not of the faint of heart. Any comments are welcome... But no teasing! Funny thing is, every time I have sprained an ankle, it occured during basketball...

OUCH!

Don't feel bad. I've broken damn near every bone in my body. Ankles several times each. I alway found the sprains to hurt worse, but then again the last time I broke one it made me feel sick.

Looks like a tumor. Do i see some foot fungus and toe nail diseases? We'll have to ask timothy on this one. He is the foot expert.

"Crossed-up"??? Sorry, I did it while I was landing from a jump. That's the way it has happened every time.

Foot fungus and stuff? Nah. Shaving my legs? Sorry, I'm not a swimmer any more.

I've never sprained my ankles I haven't even twisted one since I was very young. If you saw my ankles you would understand why. If they were swollen I don't think you'd be able to tell. They are bigger around and with less taper than most peoples', even guys I know...

*can sympathize*

I don't keep track of my ankle injuries anymore. I've had 4 casts on the same ankle in the past 4 years or so, been through broken bones, surgery, sprains, twists, EVERYTHING. I don't go to practice w/o a spare air cast. It's life. Feel better!

Well, the ankle is slightly better today. I still can't put any weight on it, though. My folks have forced me (with little resistance) to stay home today. We will see how it looks tomorrow.
