OMFG, CHARGERS LOST!! MY WORLD IS CRUMBLING, I HATE LIFE, THE WORLD IS UNFAIR, THE FOOTBALL GODS ARE CRUEL, ETC.

My only hope is that those Jets fans are charged extra for concessions and die a slow, painfully, cholestrolly death.

Well, the Packers lost. The Vikings outplayed them, and the injuries to Green, Walker, and Davenport certainly didn't help the Packers. I can accept that. What really bugs me, though, is the behavior of Randy Moss. Okay, fine, he did catch 2 TDs (one of which he should have been called for offensive pass intereference, but that's a different rant), but the whole "mooning" celebration and his responses to the fans were appalling. Several times during the game, he looked at the fans, pointed to the scoreboard, and yelled some rather unprintable phrases at them. I mean, c'mon, that doesn't need to be done. The mooning celebration is the same thing. After catching his 2 TD, he pantomimed pulling down his pants and rubbing his bare behind on the goalpost.

The NFL should finally take a stand against behavior like this and fine him. I bet they won't, though.

one of which he should have been called for offensive pass intereference,

If you're talking about his first touchdown, which I'm assuming you are, Moss didn't push off of Harris. Troy Aikmen I believe originally said he though Moss pushed off but upon seeing the reply he said agreed that he was wrong. In the replay you could clearly see that Harris over-ran the play and Moss simply stopped to catch the pass. As for his celebration after the second TD, well I got a good laugh from it. Personally, I see no problem with the players speaking their minds towards the fans. If the fans can yell whatever they want to the players then I see nothing wrong with the players yelling back. But that's just me.

Honestly, I would not be surprised to see the Vikings in the converence championship. Without TO, the Eagles are not the offensive powerhouse that they are with him. Then again, if Moss' ankle doesn't heal by next week the 2 teams will be even. Edited to clarify that by even I meant that both would be without their biggest offensive threat. Should make for an interesting game.

I'm still calling the Pats losing next week. The Colts just have too many offensive weapons. You can't stop them everytime and eventually they will put other teams into a passing game. Take away the threat of Corey Dillon and the Pats will be much easier to stop. I see Freeney wreaking havoc for Brady.

The Colts played good today, and wooped butt.

Seeing them play kinda scared me.

At least the steelers are playing the jets, which we creamed before, and they dont seem as good as other teams in the playoffs(since we still do have quite a few injuries)

EDIT*

It also scares me them always saying the jets have never won here at pittsburgh - so now they are gonna play as hard as they can to break that...

the biggest thing that steelers fans should be worried about is that apart from the colt's high-octane offense, their defense was 3rd in the league in forced turnovers and more importantly 3rd in the league in sacks (Dwight Freeney led the league in sacks). the colt's defense has been getting a lot of sacks, especially here lately. As great a year as he had and as great a career as he'll surely have, I don't think Roethlesberger will be able to win the game for the steelers, especially with the pressure of Freeney and the rest of the line. give Big Ben a few years' experience and he will be capable of winning the game for you, but for this year Pittsburgh is going to have fits with the Colts. We just have to make a quick stop in New England first.

i don't think the packers came prepared to play a real football game today. mike sherman didn't prepare the team well enough to counter a minnesota team which was out for blood. plus the pack made several BONEHEAD plays, especially ahmad carroll's TWO defensive holding penalties on the vikings last touchdown drive ]:|]:|]:|]:|]:| i believe chris collinsworth said it best when he said "16 games later and he still doesn't get it"

and that 1st moss td was not interference, but in real time it sure looked like it. moss was making a play on the ball and al harris was falling down because his feet got tangled up with moss.

Anyone saying any other team than the Pats is dillusional

oh no my brother, i'm not dillusional. i'm blood-thirsty. this is it, the year the world stands still. i know many people think that the only reason the Colts win is because of Peyton Manning. but this game will prove once and for all that its not just #18 u should worry about. HERE COMES THE HERD..... TIME TO WAKE UP AND RECOGNIZE!

Picks for tomorrow:

NE over Indy

Vikings over Philidelphia

Yes.. I am calling upsets for both games!

(and I'm going against my team... Philidelphia.. Just don't think McNabb and Westbrook can do it all by themselves after 3 weeks of not playing)
