hi folks,

i'm heading to the above cities in july and would love to hear any ideas for public aquaria, amazing fish shops, or other must-do's for a complete nature geek - for example, my highlight in paris is going to be the bird markets on sunday mornings - can't wait!! i'm gonna see birds i've only ever seen on film or in books before!!

so if you've got any ideas, i'd love to hear them.

justin

bird markets??
Well, England has a great selection of excellent marine shops.
Unfortunatly there s a distinct lack of rare amazonian stuff in shops. You might be lucky if you see some cacatouides, agassizi or borelli.
Manchester has the most recognised congragation of good fish shops (mostly marine based, although there is a place called Oasis Aquarium which has excellent freshwater species aswell as marine.
Can't say ive been to any public aquaria, although the SeaLife center is sposed to be good.
Although, if you're stuck to going to london, i cant really advise you, as ive never been (and dont intend to!).
Been to Paris. Blah..
p.s. if you go north england, Chester Zoo is quite a good day out.
p.p.s - the only thing good about dublin is the drink.
