Caution! Contains Graphic Frog Picts

Don't worry, you'll need to scroll to see them.

Not for the casual frog lover.

Last chance.....

I have solar garden lights for both my garden and service side yards (most would call these front and back yards, what can I say, my co-op is a bit different).
At night they look a little something like this.

No I know that's not traumatizing, no worries that part is coming soon enough.
So each light rests on a post that pushes into the ground, logically enough. Each piece comes apart, the one marking the corner of my walk on the service side seems to get a bit more abuse then the others. Friday as I was coming home from work I noticed that it was knocked over

again .

Yes yes, still not traumatizing I hear ya .
When I went to fix it I noticed a bit more movement than usual. Upon closer inspection I saw what looked like a frog. Well I had one in my dishwasher about a year or so ago, my sister kindly called me @work and left a message to that effect around 3am. So I thought this was another one like that little guy. He wasn't moving much so I picked up a nearby stick with leaves on it to give him a bit of a poke. He didnt' move much, in fact he didn't move @all. Not normal behavior. So I decided to move in for even closer inspection. I rolled him to the sidewalk and grabbed the camera.

Here he is.

He had, I can only assume, managed to get inside the post when it had fallen over once. He either became stuck, or died from the heat. Then managed to further bake after the post had been replalced on the stake.
Currently he's residing beneath the hosta lilles, maybe I'll see if there's any interest in him on e-bay....I believe he's a useful ingredient in love potion number 8 3/4, the lesser known of the many potions.

^_^
