I've got my lip peirced, and my tongue. I have 2 holes in each ear, two 10 Gage, and two 12 Gage.

I've had others, but these are the only ones that stayed.

My Aunty was a hairdresser. she used to do ear piercing with a piercing gun in the salon. (common once upon a time but not these days I don't think)

She pierced my ears for me then stepped back, put her head on the side, observed me and said "I think that one's lower"

Not what one needs to hear at that time. Not tactful my Aunty, funny but not tactful.

PJ I like those eyebrow piercings on guys. I think it hot. (as Paris would say)

I am not a big fan of piercings, except for maybe the nose, that I am seriously thinking about and am too chicken to do, and probably one in each ear(that I already have). I think everything else just looks too much. You dont want to look like a christmas tree with things dangling from parts of your body.

I have 2 peircings in each ear...not the cartilege though. I want to get it done...but I'm afraid. Gah, lol.

Double pierced ears, I'm gonna get a third in my left soon. Left nostril piercing (just them little diamonds, hardly anyone notices...), I want to get my lip pierced off the the side a bit, those are hot. I like piercings, but I dont like, like, -everything- done, yknow? Sometimes it's just overkill. Same goes for tattooes. Then it looks less cool, more stupid.

I have nine in total... three in each ear, plus the cartilage on my left ear, and my nipples. Right... see... I can say it too!

My boyfriend has three in his left ear (10 guage, 12 gauge, 14 gauge) and the cartilage in that ear too. Left eyebrow, right side of his lower lip (still debating if I like it or not... he's got such lovely lips and then he goes and pierces them.) *rolls eyes* Nipples as well.

Funny how we both have the same amount of piercings, but he looks all punk and unless I pull my hair back, you don't notice the piercings too much. Stupid curly hair.

As for tats, I plan on getting at least one, he already has three.

Curently have two (both earlobes) but I got those done when I was 2 months old. Planning on getting both nipples done, and I would like a tatt of a dragon around the ankle later on ^_~

I don't have any.....well not yet.
If I get one it would most likely be in my eyebrow.

I'm much more excited about the idea of getting tattoos.

dakafall, if you want to get your ears pierced (or anything for that matter), make sure you get it done w/ 100% titanium or glass jewelry. and for cleaning... dont touch it. the place where i got mine done healed completely in about 3-4 weeks and i didn't do anything as far as cleaning them. check out this link... Yup, very common practice, but my Mum didnt let anybody pierce my sister's ears. So my sis, when she was about 11 years old, decided she wanted to get her ears pierced and got them done. I tell you, it was painful. I am glad I dont remember what happened.

For your first set I think you only have thee choice of studs...so go with gold, and something you really like, diamond studs are nice...one hint, the best way I found to clean my second hole was using rubbing alcohol...the stuff they gave me caused an infection , then if you can get it close to the post/holes put some neosporin or other antibiotic...heals great...I still dip my posts in neosporin before putting them in, it helps my sensitive ears accept the earrings for the day...

i want to get my ear pierced but i don't know what kinda earring to get

My Grandmum and aunts got my earlobes pierced when I was 40 days old. Yes, I said 40 DAYS old. In those days, in India, you did not have gunning machines, so the jeweller would pierce ur ears using a hot wire. I never did any piercing otherwise, not interested.

i'm considering my ear, that's it, my GF and a couple girl friends have their bellybuttons peirced and it looks good on them, but i also have a friend... well,,, was a friend who peirced her tounge, nose, and eyebrow by herself OWWW!!!!!]:%)]:%)]:%)

I got my left nipple done a little while ago.

I have 5 piercings and 5 tats.

The piercings are located on my lower left ear, upper left ear (i think its called the cartilage), eyebrow, belly button and tongue.

The tats are located on my left shoulder blade, stomach, both left and right upper arms and my fav one so far (and most recent) is my bar code on my left wrist.

And im only 22 so watch this space for some more.
