Problems With Prices At Stores | |
FishKeeperJim Big Fish Member MTS Anonymous Posts: 348 Kudos: 208 Votes: 186 Registered: 09-Jan-2007 | Hi guys, I have had several expearinces Where I have found certain species Such as Bosmani Rainbows available for less than 2 dollars a piece, I buy a couple then go back a few days later and the price has been jacked up to over ten dollars a piece. Has any one else noticed this, or Is it unique here. This has happened several times to me. Any thoughts? mts.gif" border="0"> I vote do you? My Tanks at Photobucket |

I can't imagine average-sized Bosemani Rainbows selling for under $2.00. What other species have you noticed this with? I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

I bought a pair of what was labeled Australian Rainbows, they were actually Axelrodi. the thing is if I dont go in for a while the price drops back down. Then when I start stocking a tank the prices jump back up. Why cant stores keep the prices steady. mts.gif" border="0"> I vote do you? My Tanks at Photobucket |

I know that whenever I looked at the wholesale fish lists, the prices of some species would fluctuate from week to week, sometimes signficantly. If the store has to pay more for the fish, then they are going to raise their prices for customers accordingly. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

Another problem with rainbows and cichilds are that they're not the most distinguishable when they're young. Some nOObs don't know what they're looking at and price it wrong too. |
