littlemousling Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003	Maybe it's over a completely different key - foreign keyboards are tough, the letters are in a different arrangement so my typing slows to a crawl. Same on my microsoft "natural" (the wiggly one) keyboard. I remember being at a computer in france and I just typed as I would normally without looking down till the gibberish appeared on the screen. Then I looked down and noticed the keyboard was all wrong. Kim

But I for one never hear # as "pound" except on phone recordings ("Enter your access code and then press pound!". IRL, we mostly say number sign for that (at least around here, I suppose I shouldn't speak for the whole country). Man do I abuse parentheses. Sorry 'bout that. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com!
