In some places, entire neighborhoods will pool their money together to get a T1 connection to share.

moondog Moderator The Hobnob-lin Posts: 2676 Kudos: 1038 Votes: 4366 Registered: 30-Sep-2002	if you can't get dsl or cable, the only other option i can think of is satellite. most universities will not share bandwidth with you unless you go to school there. the problem with satellite is that you will have problems in inclement weather and it's much more expensive than cable. i can't believe you can't get cable though how far out of the city do you live that you can't get cable internet?
