Well last night was a very sad night. My 7 yr old Indian Ring Neck parrot went to the big bird cage in the sky.

It was a horrible way he went too. He drowned in my indoor pond.

Last night Jamie and I were going off to bed, when we went to put the bird up we noticed he wasn't on his cage. We searched and searched. Calling him over and over trying to get him to whistle for us so we could find him. I happened to look over at the pond and there he was.


Seems he had flown into it and couldn't get out. We where in the Den watching a movie with the door closed so we couldn't hear him making any noise.

Rico, you and your foul mouth will be missed!

pssst cover the pond ....I use acrylic I bought from Home depot for $6.

It's a little late now. There isn't any other animal that could get into it and have this happen again.
