Nothing else compares to it... silver tarnishes, white gold starts to get a yellow tint after a while and needs recoated... platinum is always as white as white can be. When it is buffed it is so bright you can't tell where the diamonds end and the metal begins. NICE! EDIT: I can ALMOST spell! LOL! Have to LOVE typos! Last edited by Stormy5 at 29-Apr-2005 17:23

I do HAVE and wear gold, but generally I prefer silver. The only time I really wear gold is when my piercings act up... I just shove the 14k gold studs back in. Or when it happens to go with the clothes I wear. On the other hand, I'm not much of a "real" jewelry person... I'm more likely to be wearing cheap jewelry than going to precious metals. My wallet wouldn't be able to provide for the expensive stuff! (...I have a lot of earrings. ) ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~

They say that people with warmer skin tones look better in gold, and those with cooler skin tones look good in silver. I'm so pale I practically glow in the dark, so silver looks better. They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes, They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver, So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.
