I've heard that so many times!! If you've found it why keep looking?

Coincidentally, my uncle just sent me this list:

Our eyes are always the same size from birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing.

Peanuts are one of the ingredients of dynamite.

Rubber bands last longer when refrigerated.

"Stewardesses" is the longest word typed with only the left hand and "lollipop" with your right.

The average person's left hand does 56% of the typing.

The cruise liner, QE2, moves only six inches for each gallon of diesel that it burns.

The microwave was invented after a researcher walked by a radar tube and a chocolate bar melted in his pocket.

The winter of 1932 was so cold that Niagara Falls froze completely solid.

I thought the longest word was antidisestablishmentarianism. Maybe that's just the longest non-scientific word.

That thread has a bunch of random facts, etc.

They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

It is an abbreviated amino acid sequence for the Dahlemense Strain of the tobacco mosiac virus. The actual sequence is much, much longer.

Enjoy.

Edit: Sorry for the capitals, but I obviously just cut and paste it, as I don't feel like spending 10 minutes retyping it.

The longest word in the English language is pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconeosis (sp? hehe). The only word as long is the plural, pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconeoses.

People tell me to take a breath when I give this fact.:%)
