we got about 1.5 inches last night, supposed to get another 1-2 inches tonight as well. i shoveled this morning and thankfully the garbage guys actually picked up my trash this afternoon (they won't do it if the way isn't shoveled). so i'm glad they picked it up cause i may not get up in time to shovel tomorrow morning

here in Mass. we have a blizzard watch in effect and are expecting 15-24 inches starting Sat.....woooohoooo eat your hearts out!!

We have some nice snow here. Hopefully it will still be here Saturday afternoon so I can go sledding

It's summer in New Zealand right now, but there has never been snow even in winter where I am, and never will be. Snow looks like fun!

Cory addict where are you?.....i was in reno when the first big snow storm hit around the first(at my parents house). the snow the sierra's got has been unbelievable,....BTW im in Davis just outside of sacramento

Midnight: I'm actually not in DC, I'm in Maryland, the outskirts of the DC Metro area.

I guess it's not gonna snow today, they keep changing their minds. Sunday we are "suppose" to get multipul snow storms ... whatever that is exactly...

But the way I figure, if I wake up and it looks bad out, I'm probably not going into work... no use on counting on anything like that around here ahead of time.

Yeah? Well I can get into my car and drive for two and a half hours and then I'm in the Sierra Nevadas, which has some of the best snow in the world.

In fact, I just went there a few weekends ago. I went up there for the snow, but instead I just spent most of the day shopping.

ok rub it in, rub it in...Here I sit in my sandals comfortable, running the AC in truck and house, yes I am in the US, no it is not cold. I was in the above mentioned odd ball snow "storm". We are all still talking about it...for most of my students it is the first snow they have ever seenand for those my age that have lived here all their life it is about the 5th time...or it is for me, of course I've lived from Beaumont to ElPaso in Texas so the weather varies...really nice to see the pictures though, and know I'll be wearing shorts tomorrow and not freezing Enjoy the snow Babel and Ferret, I'll enjoy the heat for now .

Death Valley and parts of Alabama got snow this winter.....thats pretty odd.

Those trash cans are about 4 feet tall....so a foot of snow! Yay for lake effect, and we buffalo folk know how to drive in it, well most of us.

Well if you got some ferret, then you know I did too!

I am like... North East ? of Babel at work right now. We've got 2 inches here so far... it's starting to die down at the moment however.

Like always, the traffic in DC came to a grid lock because of a few flakes of snow *oh no*.

Babel... did you take that picture WHILE driving? Bad girl... that could have caused an accident.

Meriadoc: Oh don't worry, Babel and I both live in the 2ND worst place, in all of America to drive, we know... all to well. hee hee.

Its snowing today, right now in fact

babel - try driving around here...

oh, wait, they drive stupid no matter what the weather is like...

but around here, people stock up on food thinking they'll be snowed in for weeks!!!

And on the way in you'll never believe how many suv's I ended up passing ....never mind the ones that were stuck ] in accidents ] or blocking my way into the office causing me to almost get into an accident stupid people cant drive with an inch of just powder...no ice...just snow.
