I ordered a breeder pair of Rubber Boas online a couple days ago. They got shipped today and will arrive tomorrow afternoon.

More details and pictures to come tomorrow...

I just opened the package, and the guy sent me a 2.1 trio instead of a pair as was advertised.

They are slowly exploring their new environment, which has like 4" of substrate for them to burrow into.

Here are some pictures (excuse the crappiness)...

they are very nice looking Natalie... We came accross a green rubber snake (litterally - rubber toy snake) at the pet store.. apparently some kid dropped it so they were holding it there until she came back. I was going to mail it to you if she did not return. haha (At least I tried)

Rubber Boas are weird snakes...

They are gentle and slow-moving, and have never been known to bite. If you're holding one and it finds a comfortable position, it will just sit there for an hour or two.

They can also live up to 70 years (for comparison, most other snakes only live 10-15 years).

Also highly unusual for snakes is the fact that Rubber Boas are semi-social animals, and they are often found in groups huddled together in one burrow.

They pretty much are like giant worms. The only difference is that the boas eat baby mice instead of dirt.

Other than that... Yeah, they pretty much are like giant worms.

I think the larger female may be pregnant. She just stays near the heater all day, which they don't normally do unless they are incubating eggs.
