New song stuck in my head now. "Everything You've Done Wrong" by Sloan, I watched the Virgin Suicides last night and that was the one Sloan song that got planted in my head. So, now every spare minute I have I've been playing that song on my bass.

Chris, I do believe those are two that are always getting stuck in my head too...or at least they are in the top 5....the ringer for when my best friend calls is Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy....:%)

Yesderday I had NOFX stuck in my head all day long, and I couldn't get it out since all my CD's and MP3's were at home and I was on campus all day.

I had "Telephone Song" by Mark David Manders Stuck in my head this morning. It's Texas music, so if you live outside Texas or Oklahoma, you've probably never heard it, but it's definately worth a download.

Wowee so many songs have stuck in my head for weeks before. Seems like when you are at your most idle is when you are most susceptible to such ear worms, at least for me. I recall some songs that stuck in my head when I was on holiday in Australia some years ago were :

1) "Lemon Tree" and "Puff the Magic Dragon" by Peter, Paul and Mary.
2) The "Do the loop loop" song that they play everytime you take the monorail and it passes by the station closest to Chinatown in Sydney.
3) They had a Franklin's commercial going "Come look at us now, Wow! Franklin's is changing!"
4) They had this gaudy coloured giraffe toy that would sing this song "Hello Hello Hello Hello Hello Hello How are you?" when you press it's paw. I made a big mistake pressing the paw and the tune has been in my subconcious since! Now that I am going back to Sydney in October, my friend has threatened to buy the toy for me!]

Maybe I am the only one who does this, but every morning when I wake up, for no apparent reason I have a song stuck in my head. It may not even be a song I like, or one that I only know a few words to, but for some reason it gets stuck. I was wondering if this happens to anyone else, and what songs...I think it'd be an interesting list.
I'll start it:

ACK! There is a new Devil-Commercial out there! It's for Huggie's Convertibles Diapers.... It's seriously terrible, some really cute chubby baby running around, but the jingle is what gets you. It's a satire of that classical song... Can't remember what the song was called, but the commercial goes,

"No no No no NO NO NO no NO! No NO no no no NO NO no NO... No, I will not let you change my diaper... because I am too busy.. I'm going to play with this big ball... " and so on and so forth and it's in this really high pitched opera voice...

Those who have heard it will know what I am talking about! I'm not crazy!

I think the reason for this one was because a friend of mine was singing it yesterday during last block.

yeah but you have to choose a sucky catchy song like copa cabana and you will find it catchy for about 5 mins and then you will hate yourself for it and stop humming tunes to yourself for the rest of the day. Thats the trick. give it a try. (I find the tune to Convoy helpfull too).

And then you are in trouble again...:%)How about going around humming/singing something like "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star..." Oh heck, I think once the song is in your head you are stuck with it...best of luck...
