i have THE WORST commercial jingle stuck in my head every single minute of the day.

yogurt or something and such a bad commercial. i dont know if its only canadian or what but its the devil

LOL AT REBECCA!!!! that is seriously the worst commercial around! All jumping ballet dancers on fluffy clouds and skinny people eating too much damn yogurt!!!!

One that really bothers me when I get it stuck in my head is "The wheels on the bus". I hum and sing it to myself all day.

ACK! There is a new Devil-Commercial out there! It's for Huggie's Convertibles Diapers.... It's seriously terrible, some really cute chubby baby running around, but the jingle is what gets you. It's a satire of that classical song... Can't remember what the song was called, but the commercial goes,

"No no No no NO NO NO no NO! No NO no no no NO NO no NO... No, I will not let you change my diaper... because I am too busy.. I'm going to play with this big ball... " and so on and so forth and it's in this really high pitched opera voice...

Those who have heard it will know what I am talking about! I'm not crazy!

LoL, yeah I have found that kids song stick well too. Today is was "Lean on Me".
I think the reason for this one was because a friend of mine was singing it yesterday during last block.

yeah but you have to choose a sucky catchy song like copa cabana and you will find it catchy for about 5 mins and then you will hate yourself for it and stop humming tunes to yourself for the rest of the day. Thats the trick. give it a try. (I find the tune to Convoy helpfull too).

And then you are in trouble again...:%)How about going around humming/singing something like "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star..." Oh heck, I think once the song is in your head you are stuck with it...best of luck...

I get stuck songs out of my head by thinking of stickier songs.

the question is, how can you go about getting a song OUT of your head? I have been singing the three or 4 lines I know the words from of elliot smith's 'oh well, okay,' to myself for coming up to 2 weeks now, and much though i like the song, its constant presence is slightly dismaying, it being quite as mordant as it is. It's like having the endng of portrait of a lady playing in front of my brain all day long. so how do i get rid of it?
ps though to whoever mentioned 'my cat' that is arguably the most ridiculous song ever. 'he's a pussy, super, starrr...' although perhaps not as ridiculous as various other jack off jill songs.
