I'm starting to buy games here and there for my old SNES, does anyone have recommendations for some cool ones? So far I have:

Mario World, M. Kart, M. All Stars, and M. RPG
Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3
A few sports games
Chrono Trigger in the mail

I mostly like Rpgs and some of the platforming games, though I'm open to anything. This is definitely my favorite system and I want to collect a few of the better games before they get super hard to find. Thanks for any suggestions.

I will put in the obvious final fantasy series. Can't miss those if you like rpg.
Aladdin and pitfall were great platform games.

Heh, I remember playing Aladdin with my friends a lot when I was little. I don't think we got very far.

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll keep my eye out. I've played a few of these games here and there, like Secret of Mana/Evermore (don't remember which, it was the guy with the dog) and the last Final Fantasy. Those were pretty fun.

I second Megaman X, and Metroid. Megaman is the best series of all time.

earthbound is a necessity. THE best rpg for the system. Period.
FF6 is decent and quite fun in regards to customization. Good storyline.
Secret of Mana, Link to the Past, Super Mario World, of course, Super Mario RPG, Seiken Densetsu 3, if you can find it (sp?), Mario Kart, Starfox, Donkey Kong Countries, the Star Wars platformers, any of the Battletoads series, Mario All Stars, Tetris Attack, Dragonball Z SB (surprisingly well done), Prince of Persia, SD Gundam, Smash TV, Dr. Mario, Kirby's Avalanche, Yoshi's Island...to many to name.

Best system thus far, without a shadow of a doubt.

Oh, I see you have a preference towards rpgs. If that is the case, also consider:

bahamut lagoon, breath of fire, lufia 2 (definitely), the dragon warriors, the final fantasies, star ocean, tales of phantasia, and maybe the cyber knights.

if you like strategy games,i suggest Romance of the three kingdoms,Pirates gold which is rare,or my all time fav nobunagas ambition.
