if there arent blackworms there, well, i guess i'll just make sure we take a detour to Aquamart or Pet Central

I haven't been on the net..so that's why I haven't replied.

Dave, what sort of numbers you reckon you'd be able to get (of the Atydiae's)

It depends on how much rain we get in the next few weeks. But I should be able to get around 2000-3000 fairly easily.

what sorta time-frame we lookin at?

Around 6 weeks. A bit longer if you want them quarantined.

If I send some down, I'll send them to one person, and it'll be up to them to distribute them around.

Okey dokey, well the species we get are the same one's Dave's offering, so that might be an option... I'll have chats with Calla... I think she wanted to get some Mussels & other odds & ends while we were there.... The place is up near Port Stephen... so it's a couple of hours drive...

Paratya australiensis (a species of Atydiae shrimp).

There's also another species that lives up here aswell, I can never remember the name. They'll eat most fish they can catch though, so you probably wouldn't want them.
Forgot to mention it's a species of freshwater prawn (Palaemonidae sp.)

No, no news on the grindals, but i'm going to contact the live food supplier and see if they can get them.

No news on the shrimp run, but there is a Xmas/new year party/get together being planned for Sydneysiders at my place... so maybe we can organise the run before then, if not, its in February.

And i have a pair of B. smaragdinas (wild caught) coming in from thailand they have a few pairs, i really want 2 males and a female (i already have 1 female) but they come in pairs, so we will see Maybe Kevin will split a pair for me

hi,

i know this is a pretty old post but by the looks of things you didnt get any blackworms!

if you are still looking for them i reckon Slippery Little Suckers would have them, when i wanted white worm and microworm cultures they said they could order them and have them ready for pickup in a few days. they were only $4-$5 i think per culture. just give them a call!

I'm pretty sure Auburn had them when I was there on Saturday...

Why don't you ring them up?

I find that a nice slightly skidding cornering method seems to move the leaves to the gutter, could be just me though

Well, didn't find any last night. ] grrrr. They're blackworms for pete's sake. It's not like I'm asking for 'solid-gold-worms'
I'll try Strictly Aquariums tomorrow & hope they have some. (On the bright side, if they don't have them I get to watch Matt eat Brine Shrimp! )

everyone loves our trees, none of them have to rake up the leaves though
