Due to the "open atmosphere" work environment of my chosen trade - steel fabrication - usually once a year I seem to come down with a good hard-hitting head cold.... but it seems (Dr. visit concludes) I got hit with a real nasty this year, a strain of viral bronchitis ... some fun lemme tell ya, but thankfully is not full-blown pneumonia ..... yet ( fingers crossed) Doc says keep warm and hydrated... ok, no prob, just haven't had this much time off since me and the wife did a 2 week trip to England and Scotland back in early '01...I'm bored to tears already...lol.... off work rest of this week and all next week as a precaution....I hate being sick !!! |

Reading the complete works of Terry Pratchett. Finding ways to get our new (leasing) neighbors to get their kids to shut up (they've only been screaming all day since december) Reaquascape your tank Read all the Harry Potter books, THEN watch the movies. Write a 200 word paper on why the books are better than the movies. Sign up for Walk My Plank, granted this will likely keep you busy for the rest of your known life. Help with the housework every day. Rescape your tank again. Edit: Knew I'd think of another one. Find a way to teach all the neighborhood dogs not to bark over leaves, bugs, spiders, mailmen on motorbikes, icecream trucks, garbage trucks, the fact that it's 3:32am, the moon, the bats, the trees blowing in the wind, the sun, that it's 6:15am, clouds, random pedestrians, the fact that the earth is round..... Oh, and those screaming kids, that's a big one. ^_^ |

I have been designing more and more acrylic tanks and display systems, keeping busy crunching all the calcs for weight distribution/matl. thickness/hydraulics and flow rates through media and the such. Do have a nice set-up in the design stages for a potential customer, 285Gal bow-front with a 100Gal sump, FW I think is the intent as there is no specification for a refugium or protein skimmer, the cabinetry/stand is atleast a known, match-booked curly maple with the sump neatly concealed inside, oh well, fella seems to be in no big hurry to make a decision of whether the light fixture will be a pendant - wood top closure - or acrylic, I personally think the wood-top would look much nicer.... lol.... I'm rambeling on....lol J. |
