When I looked at the expiration date, I missed the year, so I thought it expired this May. It's still good and I actually used it on some sandwiches on Friday. I'm also still drinking OJ that expired a few months ago....again still hasn't gone bad...don't you just love perservitives! ...I'll get pics for those that don't believe me . What's the oldest food you have in your cabinets, fridges, or freezers? I was at my cousin's house a couple months ago, and we found some Frosted Mini-Wheats that expired in January of 1997 as well as some pasta that said "Best if used by May 1994". Just, for some reason, whenever I leave it in there untouched for 2-3 days, it leaves that ring afterwards, which fades after awhile... As for the vegemite, heck no I'm not sending it to you, I use it to keep any scavengers out of my apartment It's VERY effective!!! My husband is always yelling at me, "That's in a can! It's not bad yet!" Or, my favorite, "That is just a suggested date!" LOL! Needless to say, I still throw things away after I give him the whole, "If it stays are you REALLY going to eat it, because I sure as hell am not! Okay, I did not think so! In the trash it goes!" I throw things away because they are not being eaten quickly enough and are taking up valuable freezer realty! LOL!

Also, frighteningly enough, the next thing in my cupboard to go bad is my canister of Vegemite. It expires later in April...
