I think they should have let it be untached.
Now they are taking many items from the ship like clothes and jewelery.

Re-read the article. I thought it odd that they would be able to find clothes almost a 100 years later still preserved. Those are from the movie titanic made what 4 or 5 years ago? They have been excavating that ship for a couple of decades at least. Nothing new there.

Empty chairs at empty tables, the room silent, forlorn.

the titanic rocks!! (not the movie, that was absolute and utter garbage. it's putrid stench radiated in society for far too long in my opinion)

Hedid, you have to remember that males tend not to have anything like the same degree of attachment to five-hankie weepies as females

what does a sinking ship that killed a few thousand people have to do with some overpaid crappy actors' "love" affair?

Oh and for us in the states, I think Leslie and I rated it as a 2 box movie...ie meaning 2 boxes of Kleenex each...lol

NOOOO, a Night To Remember was a far superior film. titanic stole all the good bits from it!

And it was so much more realistic, the attitude to women and Christianity was very similar to what it would have been at the time, far less PC than Titanic had to be.

As for the actual ship - My very distant relatives should have been on it, but they had to cancel when the wife developed breast cancer and was very sick before she was due to sail.

I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions

At least he died. That's what I call a happy ending.
