Heck, I think think I only spent $55 for a brand new toilet at Home Depot. 'Course, it's the cheapy model, but it works for it's intended purpose.

Hell no I wouldn't buy that thing. I could set up a sweet African cichlid tank for that price.

Seriously though, both appliances would be a nightmare for fish, the partitioned glass would cause thunderous vibration when the flushes and taps were on, then theres slamming toilet seats, exposure to bleach vapor,etc.

Then theres a question of taste....

Day-to-day I take care to touch my toilet as little as possible. I would not want to touch the lid etc to feed the fish daily. .........And the thought of dwelling there to do the other tank maintenance *gag*
(I have to look away from tv ads disinfecting never-used brand-new demonstration toilets to showcase cleaning products - stupid, I know)

I make physical contact with the toilet for disinfecting, other than the it is off limits. So, I don't like that idea nor do I find it the most aesthetically pleasing way to incorporate a tank into the aquatic arena of bathroom.... leave that to the novelty shower curtains and dunny seats with plastic shells embedded in them
