So the answer is red. As improbable as it seems, Blue Jays are red.

Don't be silly. Roosters don't lay eggs and Jackelopes have antlers. Oh brother, even I know that!

The answer is obviously All of the above.

OOPS! Did I forget to put that on there? Sorry.

Still no answer on the guy with no arms and no legs question.

Nope nope, some elevators dont require you to turn around, sometimes you get off on the wrong floor, and every now and then you don't go anywhere @all...sometimes you jump sometimes you hold your breath sometimes you dont even have to press a button.

The one thing that does on an elevator is leave .

When did I get a pool :88)

M&Ms and Skittles grow that way. Why do you think it's such a big deal when they come out with a new color? It takes years of genetic manipulation. I just wish they'd sell the plants. I've tried sprouting them a few times but they never grew.

The first 2 questions have the same answer and purple has nothing to do with it. Nice try though. 186,000 miles per second. No wait, that's something else. Ah, I remember (X2/4y)+n if=>0*y if<0*-y

Thought you had me with that one didn't you, Mike

na na na superlion is right and it's 42, which is also the answer to the elevator and the armless people mike seems to be growing on his m&m and skittles plants.

Okay here's an easy one !

Whens the deadline for the aquascaping contests!

Leave it to Babel to slip in an ad. She must work in some mass media thing or something.

And the limbless guy in the pool is not 42. Okay, well I really don't know if he's 42. I mean I didn't specify his age so he could be 42 but his name isn't 42. It's Bob.

Going of to bed now. Nighty night all.

Avogadro's constant is: 6.02 * 10^23
More information: 1 mole of atoms contains 6.02 * 10^23 particles of that atom

deadline for the aquascaping contest is some day really soon

and the reason why you don't keep an oscar in a 5 gallon tank is because they are really, really tiny and will get lost

why do teachers go to school sick?

Do you not have pants? If not, I think what you are wearing is a more pertinent question.

I'll guess one of Bensaf's skirts.

Why doesn't PugPerson have a question?

She got one of the answers the other would be to spread it to those students who are the most rotten!!!

Because you use more blue ink. Even I know that.

But of course it could be some kind of conspiracy. Yeah, that's probably it. The Blue Man Crew has trained tarantulas that suck the blue ink and bring it back to them. Then they sell it to forgers who use it to make fake IDs for CIA operatives in Sydney.

Small world huh, Mike

You cant keep a oscar in a 5 gallon tank because the proper stocking for a 5 gallon tank is 50 bala sharks 50 tiger barbs and for algae cleanup 50 fully grown comon plecos...

Make him lend you the blue shirt too. He says it's silk and feels TOOOOO good.

I'm not buying the printing the avatar thing. It's tarantulas, it's got to be. The sinister little devils, well maybe not little, for a spider I mean. Of course they're little comapared to us. But that doesn't make them any less dangerous.

That gives me an idea for a question.

What's the most important safety tip for handling Tarantulas?

For this one there is no wrong answer, it's just what you think is most important. I would say, don't put them in your mouth. And while I'm at it don't put snakes up your nose. I've seen pictures of both these activities.

So that begs the question, why would anyone put a Tarantula in their mouth or a snake up their nose?

Maybe it tickles.

I had a pet tarantual when I was little. His name was Mr. Harry Bald-Butt. Yup. His cage was on my bedstand so I got to see it every night falling asleep.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,

Someone would put a snake up their nose or a tarantula in their mouth because they are absolutely insane!!!!

As who says tarantulas are small? Small to what Godzilla? I'm sorry when I've seen them as big as a small plate...that isn't small...

So back to the question...what is the most important thing to know when holding a taratula? Babel had half the answer...the other part is make sure someone else is in the room to call 911 and get you to the hospital...

My question....why during menopause do us women have to have hot flashes? Anyone can answer that?

That's what I thought when I saw the pictures. At the very least they've got poor impulse control. At worst they are a danger to themselves and others.

It's not a hot flash, it's a power surge. I forget who told me that but they were trying to put a positive spin on them so they'd feel better.

oh so x=the amt of money in my checking account

Why is it when you don't want to do something time flies faster and faster toward the designated time?

Why is the pretties shade of purple on the Nitrite test, also the worst for the fish?

Why is the pretties shade of purple on the Nitrite test, also the worst for the fish?

The prettier the purple is, the higher the Nitrite concentration is.

Let's get into the spirit of things JQW. The idea is not to give the correct answer, it's to give some wierd, cooky, silly, goofy answer. Or pose some painfully obvious or obtuse question that we can have fun with. So let's get wierd....er.

The pretty purple color is the consolation prize. Things may have gone south in the tank but you've got pretty purple to look at.

The time thing has to do with Einsteins law of special cicumstances governing the apparent inconsistant movement of time in reationship to events yet to come on your particulr piece of linear time. It was never published, some say because the name of the thing was too long.

Anyway the short version is that when you are dreading something you slow down. Now as we all know the faster you go the slower time moves. As you approach the speed of light time almost stops. The inverse is also true, the slower you go the faster time moves. That's why.

Because THEY know how to work the sprinklers!

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

What if the hand that feeds us is made out of some rather tasty sugary material?

I'm afraid the old adage still holds true. You should never bite it. However the old adage says nothing about licking.

But then, being made out of sugary stuff, it would eventually dissolve. Then you would have no hand that feeds you.

You might end up with a foot that feeds you. Now, I wouldn't mind that if it was a pretty foot.

But suppose you ended up getting fed by Andy Rooney's foot. What a nightmare!

Sorry, I know it's gross. It just popped into my head.

Toe jam is a conglomeration of dead cells and manky goo.

btw it may interest you to know it is now possible to get yeast free toe jam, for years it was a necessary ingredient of toe jam due to the ubiquity of athletes foot bacteria in toe jam.

Neeeeext question;

How many shades of 'basic black' are there? And what is the 'new black' this season.

There are 3 shades of black. Sparkley, shiney and flat. Sparkley you wear at night so motorists can see you. Shiney you wear to dinner, the nature of shiney material is such that it repels stains. Flat you wear with heels because you don't want to upstage the shoes.

The new black season is July and Aug. in the northern hemisphere, Jan. and Feb in the southern. that way you can sweat off those extra pounds.

That concludes this installment of Mr.Mike Fashion Tips.

You mean the Hokey Pokey isn't what it's all about. What ever am I going to do now?

What do you call food that isn't Organic.

O dear ! ther'es another of them! who knew that tim would end up with disciples.

What do you call food that isn't Organic.

american ...and or mc donalds....come on what more could you expect from a country where ther'es a company with the motto "food for the fun of it" ...frito lay btw....and yes I do like fritos but only eat them on the 25th of december.

Okay and for a seriously important one...

Why is it that the one thing you were looking forward to or excited about ends up not going right

Case in point, the new glass tank cover I bought this weekend is almost twice as wide as my tank >.<...*wanders back to square 1*

Trolls on the Astral plane. After something like that ask your Spirit Guide to kick some Troll butt. After a while they figure out when they mess with you a butt whoopin follows and they leave you alone. Viking, Celtic and Mongol Spirit Guides are much in demand for this sort of thing.

Mike

ps. So, are those your tootsies on Tim's avatar?

MINE NOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!

I dont' wear nail polish ....besides mine have been known to kill fish by stepping on them ...they're safely enclosed in two pairs of socks (one wool thank you very much) and boots right now....

So that begs the next question.....where does one advertise for a spirit guide.....

In the Asral Times of course. Or you can go to the Astral Plane and find one. That involves getting out of your body which ain't easy. When it starts to happen you think, "Cool, I'm doing it!" and the spell is broken and you slam back in.

Mike

ps. Post a pic of your feet sans socks and I'll try to find you a viking. They're the best.

See I thought they had to be researched thru the spirit guide

funny that, it's rather similar to flying the knack of which is throwing yourself @the ground and missing as we all know.

And how can you research a spirit guide through a spirit guide if you don't have a spirit guide?

Well, we now know who has the silvery blue polish

I've got a question: Why is it the day you decide to go home sick, the other teacher in the room decides to dismantle your classroom, and put it back together in a way that suits her, yet leaves you totally bewildered?

And exactly where is that dang folder with "The Story Type Wheel" on the front?

Meaning of Manky for Mike R;

Manky (Adjective)

unciation: ['mæng-kee or -ki]

>Definition 1: (Chiefly British and particularly Scottish) Dirty, used, but also maimed, mutilated, or otherwise defective.

Usage 1: The term was borrowed by Scots English in the 16th century as "mank." Since expanding more broadly through Britain it has accumulated the common adjective suffix "-y." Though neither the Oxford nor Cambridge dictionaries list "mankiness" as the noun, given the productivity of this suffix, there is no reason not to apply it should the occasion arise.

Suggested usage: You might not want to use this word on a job interview but it does allow you to give "dirty" and "used" a rest down at the pub. "Now, now, don't cry. Use my tissue. I'm afraid it is a bit manky. Sorry." It can also replace "out of whack" and "broken" without forcing you to the more cerebral "defective": "If you don't like this wine, your palate is manky." "Manky" provides you the luxury of a choice of unoffensive alternatives in referring to lame or disabled limbs: "a game leg" or "a manky arm" (or vice versa).

Etymology: Old French manc, manque via Scottish. Originally from Latin mancus "maimed." The underlying root is *man-ko- "maimed in the hand." Akin to English "mangle" and Sanskrit manak "little." The root, man- is the same as that in Latin manus "hand," which appears in numerous English borrowings: "manual (by hand)," "manipulate," "manuscript," "manicure," etc. (Thanks to Sabra Jones for bringing this Scottish lexical nugget to the attention of the rest of the English-speaking world.)
