Let's have some fun.

What are some of the unusual things you have done?

I once made a naked snow angel.

I don't recommend this unless you have a hot tub or hot spring nearby. Even then it stings a little.

To begin with, most of mine were not intentional. I'm not sure if everyone would like me to actually tell the full story behind each thing or not (though I'd be interested in hearing the full stories behind some of these others, such as where you sign up to go on a deep-sea diving vessel )...

Also, I remember it was 6 different things that I was a state finalist for (Maps, Charts and Graphs, Number Sense, MathCOUNTS, National Spelling Bee, National Geography Bee, and High School baseball)...

As for the gallon of milk trick, yes, I've done it twice without throwing up and made over $100 off of the fact that I could do it...

Some more that have occurred to me...

I've been blown up (and across a room)...

I've had an organ removed permanently (and an appendix/tonsils don't qualify as an organ)...

I can pop my ears (the bones, not like when you fly on a plane)...

I've broken my nose 14 times...

I'm from a town of 8 people...

I've had about 15 different colors of hair (plus numerous more shades)...

I can wiggle my ears...

I'm very white and have won numerous dance contests for hip-hop dancing...

I've talked a person into hanging up on me in order for me to help them...

I've held a Diamondback Rattlesnake...

I'm arachnophobic (severely) and have had two pet tarantulas (wild caught)...

I've convinced my apartment manager that I'm gay in order to save money on rent...

I've gone to five high school proms...

I've had my very own Kiwi...at least for a month...

I've played golf in sun, rain, snow, sleet, hail, and lightning...

I've also played baseball in all of the above conditions...

I've been run over by a car...

I've played baseball in winds that topped 90 MPH...

I've been through 10 tornados (including 2 that directly jumped where I was)...

I've been pulled over by the police 45 times...

I've raced a Saleen Mustang while driving a Corvette Z06...

I've fallen out of my own go-kart...

I've argued Catholicism with a bishop...while being interviewed to be an altar server for his mass...

I've argued evolution with a professor that Princeton referred to as "the best biology teacher in the United States"...

I convinced someone that the program "Windows Explorer" was a virus I had just installed on his computer...

I say ya'll'll (e.g. Ya'll'll come to a fork in the road, and ya'll'll wanna take the road that bears left)...

Eh, I guess those'll work for now. Again, these are just memories I have that stick out to me as different, so not sure how most of ya'll'll think about them...

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.

I have been out twice trying to save beached whales. One didn't make it

Delivered a baby in a hospital corridor, dr. was late.

Held a baby tiger at Oaklawn Farms, which is not far from here.

Had the "mercury" cougar on my lap (well part of him) for a picture. I will have to get that pic scanned sometime...

Ohhh on the subject of holding things, I have held a baby fox, baby goats, baby rabbits (the latter just old enough to be help safely)

Sheesh Iltat, depending on which sides you took on the debates with the professor and the bishop, you sound like my friend's dream man.. (no, I am not doing one of those talking about myself and saying my friend things. I have a friend who loves cars (and crazy driving) and dancing, comes from a small(ish) town, etc)

EDIT: some more things come to mind.

I have eaten a bite of "concoction" which consists of a little of everything the dorms are serving on a given day. Mine consisted of pork fat, ranch dressing, chocolate cake, and cinnamony apples. It stayed down (barely)

I chewed 1.5 feet of bubblegum (not the thin bubble tape stuff, this was like .5" diameter at least) at once and managed to blow a bubble.

I wish I could say I participated in a 40-mile orienteering race in January in Southern Indiana (cold!!!), but out team didn't register in time. Next year I will be about to say I have, hopefully. I was training for it until I found out we missed the deadline.

Uhh not sure if this really counts, but I have a tendancy to break windows by accident.

First was one day before my first birthday, where I broke a window with my head and have a pernament scar under my eye.

Second was when I was 9 and accidently broke the back yard door panel glass when I pounded on it cause by brother locked me out.

Third was when I dropped a shovel and the handle hit my back yard window.

Today I kissed an electric fence. It hurt. I do not recommend it.

OK I have a few more I want to add:

I have taught in a school district where the student population PreK-12 was only 98 kids.

I was almost born on the ferry going to Galveston, Texas (mom was having contractions every 5 minutes.)

Was the first C-Section the doctor who delivered me had ever done.

Have lived where the temps would top out at 130, and not get below a 100 (even at 3 and 4 am) for close to 3 months.

Have bounced between Texas and Mexico 4-5 times in a day numerous times.

My neice and I have the same birthday only 25 yrs different.

I registered for FP on my sis's birthday.

I have worked a shift that was 72 hrs long, where you only get a break to go to the bathroom (no down time).

I've walked barefoot in the snow at the request of someone else.

I've gone swimming on New Year's Eve because there was a pool and that day it was 80. (previous days had been in the 40s) I did 3 laps before I gave in that it was too cold.

I've swam in the Hot Spings in Big Bend (103*F), and then jumped into the Rio Grande (67*F) repeatedly.

I've convinced others (college students) to do it, because it felt great (I was a freshman in high school)

I've gone swimming at midnight in February in the Frio River.

OK I think I'm done for now...dang I've been crazy!!!

YEAH!!!

And about that barefoot thing...yeah I kinda did that last night. Played truth or dare with my best friend in the hot tub, during the blizzard. Oh boyy...

And my dad, brother, and neighbor all make snow angels in their bathing suits later that night...

Why is it that the Texans can post the crazy stories revolving around stupid temperatures? To go along with Heidi's, I decked a roof of a house on a day when it reached 133 degrees, a record in my county. It was so hot, we literally would drink 32 oz of water in the shade, walk out on the roof, nail down on piece of decking, walk back into the shade, and drink another 32 oz of water...
