I am going to vegas tomorrow for the first time. The place I work is sending me there to a conference. But I should have a lot of free time in the evenings. I already have tickets to the show "O". Does anyone have some other suggestions of must see attractions. I am going to do the stratosphere coasters and try and check out the Mandelay Bay Shark tunnel. Any suggestions would be great.

Be sure to catch the water show at the Bellagio, free every night sure can't miss it. The Bellagio also has a very nice exhibet of some of Monet's works (30 or so I believe), if they are still there. In paticular I loved the non-traditional Monet paintings. Don't just expect lilly pads and ponds

I enjoyed shopping the forums, Caesar's Palace has some of the best shopping around, but what is incredible is the HUMONGOUS saltwater tank down at the very end of the forums right next to the cheesecake factory. For any fish lover it is definately worth the visit.

Just depends on the kind of stuff you like to do. The blueman group puts on a great show. I visited a little bit of everywhere and had a great time.

The roller coaster on top of the stratosphere might be the highest one in the us or world or whatever, but it sure is the most boring too! Nice view and if you are afraid of heights even a little really bad choice It was barely worth the 15 dollar cab fee and 29 bucks in tickets. I rode all 3 attractions at the stratosphere.

No matter what you end up doing you should have a great time. I was at a conference there at Caesar's Palace last July, we might not have had a ton of time after the conference, but we sure did make use of it.
