I'm downloading it right now...on dialup...it should take a while

I don't see why Microsoft doesn't release the entire OS at once....they have to drag it out over the next 5 years and make people download everything

If you've downloaded it yet, what do you think of it?

i think that i only use explorer when i need to see what's on my hard drive and most of the rest of the features of sp2 are not necessary to the way i use my computer. but leave it to microsoft to find a way to make something i don't need seem like it's the best thing they've ever made

I'm just downloading it to see what it's like, and to see if it has anything decent.

36% done...this'll take a while

Well, I'm installing it right now.

The download only took about 10 minutes... Yeah corporate LAN wooohooo!

If I have problems I'll just uninstall the SP.

If you installed Linux... Waited a few months... And then checked all the hundreds of packages you have installed to make your system work, you would find that hundreds of them would have been updated and to be 100% secure you will need to download each of the new packages and compile them. Same thing for Macs on the BSD system, I have over 80 downloaded updates to the OS and it hasnt been a year since it's release (10.3 panther)... It's all relative pancake... and at least with windows you have the majority of support and applications.

In response to the SP2 question
There have been many problems with it in regards to p2p clients, SP2 seems to be limiting the number of persistent connections. Other then that I hear its spiffy.
