Its just a half gallon bowl (prob acrylic) that has a frame around it. The back prob has a hole for a strong screw or two. If one screw, I would think it needs to go in a stud, however two screws would prob be fine to hold it. Half gallon, at 8# per gallon, thats 43, so all said, 5# total, MAYBE.

That's actually more water than most bettas see, it'd be nicer if it was designed with more suface area....hope it's designed with a cover!
