Interruptus Angelfish
Resplendent Angelfish
Goose Scorpionfish

Joculator Angelfish will run you in the neighborhood of $750 bucks.. Conspicuous angelfish will go for about $1500 - $2000 around here.. The Peppermint angelfish, when last I cared to look online, was going for around $10,000.. Clarion angelfish is another, and I can't find any website that has a price along with it.. You have to call them to get a price listing.. Guess that means if you have to ask, you can't afford it..

I think the most expensive fish I have ever seen were a Silver Arrowana of a foot in length for $299.00 Canadian, and a Zebra Pleco for $379 Canadian.
I have also seen some huge puffer fish run for 129 bucks, and a Panther Grouper for 219.

Some of the extreme intensely coloured Asian Aros will go for the equivalent of $20K US or more, as they are so rare, but koi take the cake, often fetching 5-6 figure prices, with the rare one selling for over $1 million US.

Well actually the platinum arowana has been known to be sold at $30,000USD. That was at this year's Aquarama in Singapore. I saw that myself. But I must say that is quite a nice arowana to have.

Arrowanas are insanely expensive in Asia for pretty much the same reasons Flowerhorns once were. The Chinese are very superstitious. Fu is mandarin for "fortune" so they are supposed to bring good luck and welth to their owner. The flowerhorn were popular for similar reasons, the marking on the side looked like chinese characters. If you had one that had a marking that looked like the character for fu or any other "lucky" word you could pretty much name your price.

I saw a blue Arrowana in Singapore last week with a price tag of $9,888 !

Quotes from www.dragonfish.com

The short body type of arowanas are very rare and they are affectionately, by nature of their hump symbolising a King's crown, the Arowana King. In some Asian countries, they are sometimes called, Fa Fu Long, literally, the fat and prosperous dragon. Imported from Indonesia, US$12,000.

Also
On the other hand, we have one piece left of a AAA grade, Platinum Crossback Golden. At merely 7 inches, its whitish gold rims had already 'crosses' its back. Not only that, there is a huge patch of solid gold on its forehead, making it even more outstanding. A truly collector's item! Captive bred at DFI, tag 702088880006688. Selling only US$15,000.

I wonder how much the adults of these fish are worth...

Koi, Arowana, and previously Flowerhorns were quite $$ for some reason.
