There are going to be lots more fish that are a lot more costly just as they are either so rare or such a hard fish to find that they will cost that much. One of the most expensive fish you will see commonly in a LFS would either be Koi or Arrowana, the occaisonal large and rare Plec and then something like large RTC and stuff. If you where to ask someone to personally get a fish it would be a lot moree expensove as some fish are only caught on request so cost like £4000 as it takes alot of effort to get only a few of them whereas it will cost considerabley less to catch say 200 Neons

You won't see much costlier than an Arowana or a Koi. The Rhinopias aphanes (the last Rare Fish of the Week) is the costliest non-man-made fish I can think of, which can get prices of up to $8000 (and probably higher). I think there are some deep sea Angelfish that catch prices around $4000, but I don't know if I'm adding an extra zero or not.:%)

We have several SW fish that are $250-300, and a large blue arowana that's $250.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

We have a $600 SW fish where I work...can't remember what the name of it is...its all light pinkish/tan and really weird looking. I'm sure you can find something even more than that though...considering we're not a HUGE store, and we have that guy and koi that run for over $300... Perhaps Shini could answer your question nicely...

I saw a rather large catfish on sale for $129 US, but I forgot the name of it. It was in a small LFS.
