I took 2 years of French in high school and I still remember a little (very little), but since I live 5 miles from Mexico, I'm slowly, but surely, learning Tex-Mex Spanish....not to be confused with classical Spanish. I know enough right now to be moderately dangerous. So, what ohter languages do y'all speak??? "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." |

I would LOVE to learn to speak Greek. That language has always fascinated me. "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." |

Posts: 2266 Kudos: 2194 Votes: 19 Registered: 18-Nov-2003 | I remember a little of the French I took in junior high, I'm okay (but not fluent) in German, and I'm picking up some Spanish. However, I am of the opinion that I sound like an idiot trying to SAY anything in Spanish, so I just stick to trying to understand what someone is saying. ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |

The spouse is from Canada where they are required to take French in school, yet I remember more of it than he does We're in a major Spanish-speaking area. My oldest son will be taking it this fall in 9th grade; my middle daughter may have it this fall as well so I may be learning Spanish by association ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |
