I just posted this below from my post on freezing weather:

Windchill at 0 now!
But decided to have one of my favorites for supper................potato pancakes! Fresh out of the hot pan & smeared with butter & diced onions!
I must be getting ready to gain that extra weight to tide me over through the winter.

It got me wondering..........What's in your pot tonight? Or what do you WANT in your pot tonight?

.....................Opps! Just realized about my wording.
Ummm let's keep it limited to cooking pots for right now ok folks.

Normally I just have some Cup Noodles or a couple packets of Easy Mac. Typical college student dinner.

This afternoon I cooked some pasta in my hot pot, though.

10 year old son begged for pizza, so I caved and called the delivery guy. Beats cooking when you're tired from work, but does nothing for your diet....oh well, there's always the ever popular New Year's resolution.

Cook? All I can cook without some burning, unevenly cooked, not quite cooked, or unevenly mixed ingredients is scrambled eggs and sloppy joe's from a can of mix. Even my frozen pizzas tend to come out slightly well done on the edge or not done in the middle. I made some lemon bars... I can't get them out of the pan(did grease it) and the top is kinda sticky and crunchy with this runny goo underneath... Even if you manage to get one out and into a sloppy runny pile on your plate they just don't seem appetizing. You have no idea how many beef stew attempts in my crock pot have gone wrong.

It doesn't have to be something that you are cooking........... I know how people eat...... I merely meant what are you having for supper? A cooked meal, eat out, a sandwich, leftovers? And what is that you would REALLY like for supper? Like what is one of your favorite meals........fixed by you or someone else or even eat out. Like one of my favorite meals is potato pancakes.

They all do.

I had a mozzerella panini and a chicken salad.

Whatever they serve me at the dining halls...

What would I *really* like?

Pesto fettuccini with shrimp

or

Steak and garlic mashed potatoes...

or a lot of things that we don't really get in the cafeteria...

I would love a big salad right now.

Or pizza with tomatos, green peppers, and mushrooms

Tonight: Chinese food
