I don't drink coffee. I love it but it doesn't love me... makes me nauseous.

I don't drink coffee.... but I have consumed my fair share of hot chocolate this winter. I do enjoy tea on occasion too.

My coffee is very important to me - not because of the quantity I drink, but because of its implications for the people who produce it.

Did you know that most of the coffee in the world is produced under completely inhumane conditions?

So the most important decision I make when choosing coffee is, am I harming anyone by buying it? I choose Trade Aid's certified fair trade 'ecohabitat' coffee. I know there are equally good brands of coffee in other countries.

Food for thought

Hot chocolate

I don't like coffee, only coffee ice cream. But I enjoyed hot chocolate today after playing in the snow.

usually crappy nescafe but I like to brew as well.

when I do brew I like to try differant types. Currently I am trying a Kenyan blend.

I have a question to ask though.... I am going to clean out my coffee machine and it has been said to me by my brother that citric acid is good to clean out your coffee maker.

I went to the supermarket and looked for it and found the shelf was labelled 'citric acid' but the jars on the shelf said 'tataric acid'. Anyone know what tartaric acid is and wheter its advisable to use it?

Now that I have a travel mug I can take hot chocolate from the dining hall at every meal if I so choose. Mmmmmmmmm.

Well seeing as how alot of us are out shoveling out of this crazy blizzard like I am...the first thing I did after coming in from it was make myself a hot Dunkin'Donuts' coffee. I drink alot of it and buy it by the pound. My wife makes a pitcher of it a day for me! So what's your coffee or hot drink on a snow day like today?

Oh me too! I guess that's a bad sign?

I can drink almost any coffee, I'm not too picky, but Starbucks and Tim Horton's just give me the worst headaches.

If it's getting cold I guess I'm drinking tea...sometimes Hot Chocolate but not for now...I honestly don't like coffee, it is nasty...but...Starbucks does have some wonderful drinks...

Sis, seems like you and I have the same favorite...

Double Mocha Chocolate Chip Frapachino, with extra chocolate sauce, and some vanilla shakes on top...all the chocolate covers the mocha

Tea for me.. Coffee is something that I love, and I drink alot of it at work, but when I'm at home or out, hot tea does the trick.. Nothing fancy, either green or darjeeling..

Troy, I just use white vinegar to clean my coffee maker.. I run it once with vinegar and then about 3 or 4 pots of water to clean the vinegar out..

yeah I was going to do that but I heard a lot of coffee machine companys discourage use of vinegar and reccomend citric acid (and tataric acid too I just found out)
