Did you know that most of the coffee in the world is produced under completely inhumane conditions? So the most important decision I make when choosing coffee is, am I harming anyone by buying it? I choose Trade Aid's certified fair trade 'ecohabitat' coffee. I know there are equally good brands of coffee in other countries. Food for thought

Currently I am trying a Kenyan blend. I have a question to ask though.... I am going to clean out my coffee machine and it has been said to me by my brother that citric acid is good to clean out your coffee maker. I went to the supermarket and looked for it and found the shelf was labelled 'citric acid' but the jars on the shelf said 'tataric acid'. Anyone know what tartaric acid is and wheter its advisable to use it?

I drink alot of it and buy it by the pound. My wife makes a pitcher of it a day for me! So what's your coffee or hot drink on a snow day like today?

Sis, seems like you and I have the same favorite... Coffee is something that I love, and I drink alot of it at work, but when I'm at home or out, hot tea does the trick.. Nothing fancy, either green or darjeeling.. Troy, I just use white vinegar to clean my coffee maker.. I run it once with vinegar and then about 3 or 4 pots of water to clean the vinegar out..
