My brother is 20, but he acts 11 about responsibilities. His last two chinese water dragons died in their own filth, in a tank never cleaned, so dirty that the insects they were fed were breeding in it (they got sick obviously and stopped eating them).

Now that he's moving out, he's all "I'm gonna get a chinchilla and a snake." I really tried to talk him out of the snake. I even offered to give him one of my leopard geckoes, because they're easier, but he smirked all arrogantly and said "But snakes are more... evil." ARRRGH

That poor snake is going to die just because my brother wants to look cool and be a bad-arse with an "evil" snake (nevermind he screamed like a girl when he saw a garter snake outside). What am I supposed to do?!

well, if you could do it without harming your geckos, you could put one on him at night so that it crawls across his face and tell him that's what happens when you don't take extra special care of your animals

I think the scream he'd give would deafen them. If anything, I fear he's going to buy a boa, and then starve it to death because he won't feed it mice or whatever. He's an inner wuss, trying to be tough by... buying reptiles.
