I would say it depends on what I'm looking for as well.

Obviously this site, I also like fishbase.org for general information.

thepufferforum.com and http://home.messiah.edu/~dw1178/pufferlist.htm for puffer information.

no neither did i babel! altho only took me a couple months hehe

www.aquariumadvice.com i use it the same way i do fp very good for general info etc... actually i prefer it *puts neck on chopping block * the general design and layout is better, better functionality, can actually search lol and i think the forum works better. not putting down the knowledge on fp because i am a big fan of this site, and everyone on here, it just works better

for catfish i go to planet catfish, and thats about it, the rest i google

Probably the only other one I go to is planet catfish for the cat-e-log...didtn even realize they had a forum there .

...of course I didnt know there was a forum here for until a year or so after I'd found the profiles section when the redesign that changed colors happened .

First, the blatantly obvious answer, this one - the one you're now looking at.

Second, outside of FP, PlanetCatfish is a pretty frequent haunt (when I get net time - I don't have a net connection at home and rely on public facilities), and if Jason_R_S can remind me of that nice Cichlid site he pointed me at with huge lists of taxonomic names, so I can update my database, I'd be grateful

Yes, fp is the logical answer, but depends on what you want. By far the best and easiest forums I've found in my limited internet travels. Decent fish profiles. easier to navigate thru than aquaria central. faq.thekrib.com has come in handy too

I'm a big fan of aquatic-hobbyist.com. It's laid back, everyone is super nice, and super knowledgeable.

I also like the corydoras forum because they have some awesome pictures of fish.

I can't say I have a favorite, but if I'm looking for in formation on a species I usually start at Fishbase.org . Couldn't link to it right now, the site must be down for some reason.
Here are some that haven't been mentioned yet

FP is number 1 of course for freshwater! If I am intested in posting a question about saltwater, I go to saltwaterfish.com.

FP's being left out because it's the obvious answer.

I'm a big fan of http://www.Shelldwellers.com]http://www.Shelldwellers.com[/link], and [link=http://www.cichlid-forum.com.

Petfish.net is my favorite.

I also really like fishindex.com but I wish they had more specie profiles on there.
