Glad things got fixed Babel...and hope the cheesecake helped...I ended up making 24 mini cheesecakes, and brought about half of them home... They won't last long I'm sure...

I got one @the store...which if I'd known it would take 9 days to reconnect with the world, I would have just gone to the store in the first place....seems that they hadn't even included the rebate info that they were supposed to ...grrrr......

Turns out, after a trip to the store, then a trip back home, then a trip to the store again (all in rush hour/DC/holiday traffic) that they sent me a broken phone ]:| *explodes*

oh, and as a side note, the batter is usually at home plate

So my phone finally came (according to Fxx Ex and c!n&ul@r 3-4 business days means 8 days )...

It was left unsigned for on my front doorstep in the cold for who knows how long....and wasn't even packed with padding and once I opened the box... there wasn't even a battery in the box, surely there was a mistake

Yep ! what I thought was the sim card
was really the battery :%) shows that I shouldn't open small brown boxes when I'm tired, had a long day, and having to have my house appraised in less than 12 hours :%)

I still like my old phone better, miss my old ring tone that would wake me up @night when someone *cough*tim*cough* called ...but there's no bringing it back, no matter how many times I beat it up...so the new one will have to do

No this doesn't mean my chat rants about losing half of my night and weekend minutes are over ....just well.....

i think they do that to justify having a store with actual employees. there is no reason they can't activate it over the phone except that they need to keep their stores in business.

What the hell babel? I have never heard of someone having such a hard time getting a freagin phone. One would think they would want your bis. Now stop being a victim and tell them off. Want me to do it fer ya?

*flicks tim* I've been doing that for 24 hours ....they still insist I have to drive an hour to the closest store to have them activate it...which means I need to take time off of work, just to get it done.
