I like coke.....not supposed to have very much caffeine so I only drink it maybe once a week. Aspartame is evil, vile stuff. If I'm counting calories I would much rather go without than have anything artificially sweetened, even if it didn't cause other issues for me. I haven't seen non-diet coke with lime in stores yet but I'll keep my eyes open. It sounds yummy.  |

I like post-mix better than bottled though, and I love Vanilla Coke although I get sick of it sometimes. I'd like to try lime coke but they only seem to sell it in diet, and I can't stand diet soft drinks - they all taste like chemicals. I love ginger ale as well, and good lemonade (kirks and schweppes), no sprite or 7up. Oooh, and those fancy new Schweppes drinks, Agrum and Ciata and Viage. Fruity without tasting artificial. Aspartame gives me hospitalisable migraines, so imagine my surprise and delight about 2 weeks ago when I was in a convenience store and spotted regular Coke with lime! (go have a look for it...it seems only available in the small bottles so far, but one can hope to the 2L before long). |

They're not levels that'll really hurt you, it's said, though I prefer to avoid aspartame anyway. Nope, just trying to avoid fats and hormones....and trying to help lessen the impact of the resources required to raise things like beef. Regular Coke with lime is in 7-11 stores and Safeway so far. |

Besides, aspartame was cleared for use in foods at about 1/10th of the percentage that it is used in most diet sodas. |
