I am selling my 56 gallon, it's a beautiful cichlid tank, that went all wrong with my convict getting old, so I moved him into my clown tank to live out his last few days or recover, and the 56 gallon is put up for sale, lot's of people are happy and surprised, I am giving it way.

I am selling it with a heavy heart, but I dont have it in me to maintain two tanks

Does everybody feel like this when giving away a fish tank

yup.

And then 6 months down the track, you pick up a replacement or two... Honest! it has happened to me twice so far!

I think I am keeping it, hubby was calling all the fishies cho chweet, and my babies and they are so cute today morning at 6:30.

I am getting a great price for it and the person wanting to buy it is very keen, but I think I will keep it. I am giving away the 29 gallon instead, I havent used it in like 2 years anyway.

I was gonna say that's gonna haunt you in a year when you want to set up another tank and you had a perfectly good one sitting around!!

I was hoping for some encouragement to strengthen my heart so I can part with the tank

This is not working

Now I have to figure out a way to tell the buyer to bugger off!

Well here's some encouragement:
I recently had to give up my 6 gallon tank. I wanted to keep it too, but I had no time, no place and I kept reminding myself that if I had no time for my fish, I would just be neglecting them.

So remember that you are saving your fish some trouble when you sell it.
HTH (for whatever you do with it)
