Today's word: pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoiosis
Double points if you use it in a sentance with: yeti

Tomorrows words will be a bit more friendly

Only an unlucky Yeti could contract pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis in dusty West Texas...

Doctor, doctor! After his sabbatical to Aetna, I discovered that my favourite yeti had contracted a rather bothersome case of pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoiosis....will a nebulizer be helpful?

when the yeti tried to use his third nostril, he found it had succumbed to pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoiosis and was no longer working properly.

After the yeti was imported to a zoo on Mt St Helens (just imagine one exists), the ash in the area caused it to contract pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.

Gee I wonder where you got the idea of word of the day. Interesting variation .

As the yeti climbed to the top of the montain, the peak beneath him exploded as the volcano/mountain erupted with great force...he had contracted pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoiosis by the time he hit the ground!

I figure we can get some creative juices flowing that ISN'T the lyrics association thread...

I'll put out a word of the day, and in an effort to build vocabulary for everyone y'alls try and use it in a sentence. Simple enough Some words you've heard of, others you haven't, and some are just cool to say.

We'll start out with words that everyone has heard of before

Word of the day: Botch
Double points if you use it in a sentance with Brutal.

If you botch this killing you've been assigned, the consequences could be brutal...

Its original meaning, from the 14th century, meant a swelling or tumour.

So one could say "I have a brutal botch on my bottom."

Botch means to stuff it up.

The way that Jeff made a complete botch of the cake meant that Sally gave him a brutal teasing.
