Botch means to stuff it up.

The way that Jeff made a complete botch of the cake meant that Sally gave him a brutal teasing.

i was munching on some pungent chocolate the other day, having a predilection for things which bring about catharsis. when i spotted a yeti trying to filch something from a nearby satchel. the owner of the satchel saw him and a brouhaha erupted. in the ensuing imbroglio, the yeti was brutal but in the end his attempts were botched by a policeman who had recently contracted pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoiosis.

But too much candys a botch,

tim wants me to use brouhaha and imbroglio in a sentence for "double points" but he doesn't say who's keeping track of the points he's giving out? someone probably filched the points table from his satchel and gave them to a yeti with pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoiosis. but further attempts to take the points table back were botched by the thieves he hired, who were incredibly brutal but unsuccessful.

She felt a great catharsis come over her as she munched her way thru the munchably delicious chocolate bar. "If only that yeti hadn't filched my satchel I would never be in this position" she thought.
