Hi everyone --

I've probably mentioned in other postings that I'm a journalist by profession. Like everyone else, I was stunned and incredibly upset to hear that Gary Roland had passed away. He helped me so much with my tanks, both by responding to my postings on the board and behind the scenes with extensive advice offered in PMs. I have the feeling from other comments made on the board that he did the same for a lot of us.

I'm interested in putting together a little tribute to Gary, for possible publication -- provided, of course, that his family says it's ok (which Shannen is checking for me right now.)

I'd love to hear your favorite Gary stories -- preferably the kind or funny variety! I'm looking for anecdotes about how he helped you, how you got fond of each other even if you didn't see eye to eye on things, etc., etc. I'm sure you get the drift!
