for riding my bike today when the temp was 20F (-6C) with a wind chill of 5F (-14C)? it felt so warm before the wind started blowing this morning....

Hardly.

For a class project, one of my less-than-intelligent friends and I played football barefoot in 15 degrees with a windchill just below 0. Needless to say, the videotape was amusing.

And for the record, frozen dog poop really, really hurts when you step on it with bare feet.

when I was in highschool, I was on the varsity soccer team and we only won when it was nasty out. Our best game was in a snow storm. They had to keep clearing the lines for us. Soccer balls really hurt on bare (or covered thighs) at freezing temps.
