anybody else in britain watching amazon abyss at 7pm each day this week on BBC1?
it's really interesting, it's the firs concerted effort made to film underwater amazonlife in natural habitant.
in the first show they got the first ever footage of a BGK in its natural environment.
in tonight's they discovered a new kind of fish, a tiny, clear blood-sucking catfish from some amazon tributary stream, and they had a big lok at some giant otters and swam with freshwater dolphins.
tomorrow they have an anaconda.
it's really good TV, and even the divers and camera-people seem like really good chaps. Best nature programme I've seen in a while. anyone else watching?
for people without the BBC, it might be downloadable on bittorrent or similar.

We're probably gonna have to wait for Amazon Abyss like we did for Blue Planet. It'll come eventually, if you've got cable.:%) That somes frickin' awesome.

I heard about this elsewhere on the Internet. They allegedly got plenty of footage of Loricariids, this alone would make the thing worth watching. I for one can't wait to see it, even if I have to order the video/DVD online.

hmmm, I must have missed it in the TV guide.
I'll be sure to check in.
Just to be sure; 7pm your time is 8 pm Dutch time?

They went in search of Megladorus Irwini (sp.) and found one and some Knifefish. they also found Monkeys, Caiman, Anaconda, Flag Cichlids, Other Cichlids and then at the end they sprung a leak in the boat :%)
