Under 150.

well under $150.....biggest expense in the past few years was the stuff I had to buy for my diving class $65 for boots, $40 for girls swimshorts ...not sure if $200 fins count as clothes...

Otherwise my regular shopping is probably closer to $50 a year unless there's something specific I have to buy.

I guess it really varies. I'm putting $151-350 simply as a guesstimate. I'd rather get a lot of clothes cheap (yay, Walmart) and find a few things that I just MUST have from Torrid (my new favorite store... I swear, I MUST stay away... I spend way too much there).

I mean, I can be like one of my guy friends who blows 80 bucks on a pair of jeans, but WHY? Of course, he has more clothes than probably everyone I know combined.

I try not to spend too much on clothes, because there's other stuff I'd like to spend it on!

Basically once or twice a year I do one big trip - ie I buy a lot of pants (because I had none that were in good shape left) or shirts (ditto) or sweaters (again) or bras (and WHY they're so expensive I have no idea).
Thank goodness for Eddie Bauer, which stocks my best colors year-round.

Under 150. I don't like clothes. Walking around naked is preferrable.

I did buy a large nintendo sweater for 50 bucks, probably my only large clothing expense.

On myself - I voted for 151-300 but it actually tops out more around 250 at the most. I am NOT a clothes person at all...I have probably 3 comfy pairs of jeans and 3-4 pairs of shorts that I will wear out of the house and around the house it is sweats and t's. When I worked in the office I spent more because I had to have dress clothes but the nice thing is I have those left now to wear if needed (church, whatnot)and don't have to spend a lot. ....I just have a really hard time spending a lot of money on clothes
My husband and kids - that's another story......I find it WAY easier to spend money on them, lol

In a whole year? Probably over $900. I kind of have expensive tastes. But I am really good at finding designer clothes on sale, so I end up spending a lot less than I might have.

$601-$900

I would definitely qualify as an exception amongst guys cuz I have more clothes than probably any male on this site...and I still buy more. Between the shirt/tie wardrobe to work, jeans and t-shirts for hanging around, and shoes/hats, it adds up...it's a good thing laundry money isn't getting counted in this cuz I'll bet I spend more of that than anyone else too For the record though, I only own ONE Abercrombie item...and it was a hanger I stole from Abercrombie so that I could finally own something from there...

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.

151-350

I work nights so most often I'm in PJs or something similar during the day. Going out I usually wear jeans and I wear black jeans to work. Those don't go cheap on; I'm thin and tall so I order them online. My biggest expenses would be work socks and boots, and I splurge on Victoria's Secret underthings

Wouldn't believe me if told you. Though I do have to maintain a professional wardrobe which is $$$. When I was a stay at home mom I was much more reasonable in the clothes department

I'm a 2nd hand shopper and a jeans and T shirt girl, so i'm low maintenance in the clothes department.

the more i save on clothes, the more i can spend on fishies

I am in the process of losing weight. So far 35 lbs , so nothing fits anymore. I buy clothes on sale, never pay the full price. I did not add my daughter into that, she is having a year of growth spurts (10 yrs old) and I can't keep her in jeans...it seems every three months I have to buy more. She has tons of crop pants for the summer

900-1500

I wear a suit & tie to work ...
So at least 1 new suit every year.

Add to that the fact that I once worked in a men's wear shop, and you know that some habits are hard to kill.
I guess I'm an exception among men
