I went to an American Idol concert... I'm not a big concert person...

Well... I hadn't been to a concert in a while, so I went to the Davd Crowder band concert when they were here in town this Wednesday. That was good - Something Like Silas opened for them... and they had some really good music and this one guitarist was probably the best I've seen... tons of different techniques I've only heard of... and even some I'd never heard of before...

But by far the best concerts I have seen were the Newsboys concerts I've been to (that is, two). They're awesome!

i work at a concert arena during the summer, so i get to see all kinds of great shows. the best show i worked was probably ozzfest from 2003. a lot of the "nobody" bands really blew me away with how good (and crazy) they were. best show i ever saw was farm aid 98 in chicago. phish was the headliner and neil young jammed with them. they played down by the river for about 30 minutes, then willie nelson and paul shaefer came out and willie sang a few songs with everyone and then phish closed out the show with neil young.
